Many people get caught up in having the newest and best equipment and needing to do hours of post-processing work on every image they capture. It's good to remember that we were taking good photos of things long before any of us knew what digital was, much less that we were able to afford it. My faithful Minolta slide scanner has been getting a workout as I try to scan my slides. 2 trays down, 46 to go.
This is one of the bridges across the Aare River in Bern, Switzerland. It was taken with my trusty K1000 using a 50mm f/2.8 lens on Kodachrome 200. It may not be the greatest of artworks but I am happy that it looks as good as when I first put it in the projector all those years ago.
