A rose by any other name.
Lens: Sigma 70-200mm Camera: Pentax K5 !!s Photo Location: Melton

Eucalyptus rhodantha

Not really a rose at all but this one goes by the common name of Dowerin Rose. A native of Western Australia, it seems to be doing quite well in our Botanical Gardens her in Victoria. Shown in various stages in the flower development.

Thank you. I like #1 the best and yes all the flowering eucalypts are great as are the grevillea, calistamons and so on.
