The second one looks like an angry fire elemental! Interesting images! I don't think I've ever tried a long exposure of the sparks of a fire.

One of the perks of living in Finland this time of the year (it is getting colder) is the ability to shoot these kinds of pics I guess. I like the second shot the best. It reminds me of a photo I took years ago of two of my friends with the glow of a wood fire on their faces somewhere in the mountains between Alta and Lakselv in Norway.
