Fade to B&W
Posted By: Jimbo, 07-25-2008, 12:25 PM

Reworked a picture that was under exposed which left the color's faded and dark. This was re-worked in Lightroom and Elements. Cheers... working on a few others... JIMBO

great detail and colors! I like it!
My only remark goes to the composition. It just calls for rotating the flower for some degrees to the left.. not so much... 10-15 degrees for example...

Oh yeah! that works. I really like the water drop that has some of the orange reflected. it makes the shot that much better.

I got that shot but the light was off. I must have taken 40 shots of this flower from all angles and it comes down to taste when you choose one one or two to save. Appreciate the comments and suggestions.

Thanks Peter. I like that about the photo two. Took awhile in Lightroom to get it just the way I wanted! Cheers JIMBO

I love it when you take a photo that you thought was lost and make it a winner. It's that underdog vibe that we all like so much, I guess. You did a good job here, Jimbo.
