I think that they're more attractive than rainbow lorikeets. I should have brightened the image a bit more, but the light was very poor at the time; after sunset.

always nice to see these spectacular birds, good job in the conditions, .... the Rainbow Lorikeets are massing outside the window,

Thanks! Rainbow Lorikeets are pretty, but they're aggressive and very noisy. I've seen them defoliating trees by roosting in them by the hundred, and I certainly wouldn't want to live next to a roosting site! I didn't have time to put the teleconverter on the camera, but that would have made it even harder to get a steady shot at f5.6.
