First one with new K-70
Lens: sigma 17-50 mm f/2.8 ex dc os hsm Camera: Pentax K-70 Aperture: F2.8

Just bought the K-70 yesterday so not much time spent making photos, but could not stop myself from trying this one with sigma 17-50 and new manfrotto monopod

I can see that it could be done better, F4-6 instead of F2,8 and probably a little better background but I think it looks nice for a starter with new toy

The shallow DOF at F2.8 has given you an intriguing background which works well.

I agree with eaglem. I'm a sucker for tasty helping of bokeh along with the shallow dof. I also ordered a new K-70, but I have not yet taken it for a test drive...hopefully that will change soon!

Like the background and subject! I have the K 70 as my first Pentax, I had the Sigma 17-50 for my old Nikon and am thinking of buying it again for my Pentax, this convinces me it works well

In my opinion it is the best budget friendly short zoom You can buy. I compared it with my Pentax-A 50mm F1.7 and the quality is very very close, but it has damn fast AF

Yeah, why only photograph fresh roses? This one has a lot of character.
