My "Special Lady” teamed up with Kerrowdown1, provides texture and colour detail beyond my comprehension.

It's a beautiful heritage property with easy access for contractors to install modern electrical and plumbing features. Open concept floor plan with wonderful exposure to the afternoon sun and the opportunity to view gorgeous sunsets from either floor. Doorway strategically located for adding a front facing second floor balcony. A special property like this won't be on the market for long.

Why are you using your Special Lady at f9? Shouldn't it always be set at f1.2 so only the leading edges of three or four bricks are in focus and everything else is an unrecognizable blur of bokeh?

Perhaps we can take a stab at your profession...

Cos the light was such... K1 @ F1.2, ISO 100 and fastest shutter possible 1/8000, it would have still been two thirds of stop overexposed and that would never do.

You would be a little bit wrong, my job is to convince truck drivers that my round and black thingies are much better than round and black thingies from other tyre manufacturers.

Aye... could tell there was a bit a salesman in there somewhere, must be all that smooth patter.

I note Des Res II, is just about as popular here as Des Res III was.

I'm not even going to mention the original Des Res posting.

KD has begged me for a comment.
Well, I think the interior of that room with the large picture window space needs a fresh coat of paint.

I am amazed that things like that are able to remain.
What do the neighbours think? (Obviously their sons think it a marvellous place, if only they could sneak in and play while parents not looking!)

There was a place (described as a mansion) in Sydney recently sold for $6+ million, after being vacant and decaying for "decades" (that makes it at least 20 years!!) according to the press.
That one was obviously in the upper crust area of town, and the upper-crustarians would have endured societal agony for all that time.
Apparently there was a family squabble over an estate.

More of a surprised lack of your comment on my part... I would suggest.

No one seems to care too much as it's been that way for a good number of years now.

You forgot to include a smilie to show that you were just kidding.

The outside blocks of the structure are at various distances from the camera. He needed significant DOF to capture all the interesting blocks.

Abandonment and decay is most of the story.
