Nice portrait, and you've got to admire how they roll (even if my tastes run to Scotch and greenheart rods); otherwise I'll pick the "Longship-saurus" as my favorite...modern sculpture can be a little "twee," but I'm digging the imagination here.

Never seen ore fished with a greenheart but I do know some guys fishing with split cane rods. I still use the Sage rod I bought with money from my first steady job. It is a 5 and although I have caught a small Atlantic salmon with it; i din't have a license and good flies with me for the salmon and sea-char in this river. (I did try in stealth mode for half an hour.) And I am with you on the Scotch front but I'll take what I can get! When I was young I encountered Norwegians in the mountains with 'hjem brand' otherwise known as moonshine...

Thanks Alan! I also think stones galore could sell, but I suck at promoting my own work because I like creating images more... But I will upload it to the online platform I use to sell my photo's.

Thanks Sean! There are enough Norwegians active on this forum to give you good advice where to go if you ever end up in Norway. I've been traveling in Norway for more then 30 years now and I'm alway's happy to share my experiences and knowledge of the country. Shoot me a pm if I can be of any assistance.

Thank you sir! I do appreciate a compliment from somebody with a nordic background. It was in this part of Norway, bordering Finland, that I once had a typical Finnish delicacy; coffee cheese...
