Comic-Con 2008

I went to Comic-Con for the first time this year and brought along my FA 35mm and A* 135mm. Everything was shot at ISO 800 on my *ist DL.

Man.. that Joker king is great, and I don't think Toronto Comic-Con has as many cute girls as the one you just went to.

Great photos by the way, i like them without flash

Yep. I had a blast. I think I'm going to make Comic Con International a yearly trip for me!

One interesting thing is that Avery Brooks (Commander Sisko) refused to pose for the photo, but he shook my hand... twice!

What a difference from the comic cons of years past... Thank goodness for Anime and female superheros!

Enjoyed the series... These are some great candids... I will try to make the APE/comic-con event in SF in Nov I think.
I will take the camera for sure...

Comic con! Definitely jealous I was stuck at work while you were in the same room as Joss Whedon and the guys from Mythbusters =/

Pictures are wonderful. Looks like you definitely had a blast with this series =D

I'm a hardcore Trekkie and Stargate fan, so thats great for me! ha!

It's impossible to do everything at Comic-Con because so many of the panels and presentations overlap. I had to choose between standing in line for Dollhouse or attending the Lost panel so I chose Joss over Lost. The programming guide only listed the Lost producers as as attendees anyways.

I also tried to make it to the Futurama panel in the morning, but I was immediately overwhelmed and lost in the convention center. I ended up sitting in the Fairly Odd Parents panel, which was pretty cool too.

i want to meet the PA guys one of these days, i dont know what i will say though..

ive been a fan of them since the beginning, its really quite incredible what they put together.

Excellent candids - a fan of all Star Treks and spin off's from Captian James T Kirk to Captian Hathaway .... like Stargate as well. Nice series.
