I like dogs more than I like most people.........( Pentaxians excluded of course!)

Great shots..........the tractor is my fav...........not sure what it is about farm equipment that makes great pics, especially B&W

Where in ON are you?

I'd say both the camera and photographer are in great working order.

You're certainly off to a great start. They are all very nice but the B&W tractor is a stand out for me. Nice work.

Oh, yes - you've captured everyday things in extraordinary ways.
Nice.

Good eye for these shots. A little underexposure but all work out pretty well

Hi, welcome to the forum.
Great start with the camera, you can't be completely new to photography I suspect.
The tractor is really good, you could have improved the composition, stepped back and to the left a little so you could get the sides of the wheel and the exhaust to give the shot more detail.Your dog is cute, great shot, eyes sharply focused and the impression of motion from the blurred tail and slightly OOF nose.
Keep them coming.

I am outside of peterborough, and my most common subject for photos are dogs.

I have never used an SLR camera of anykind before... just digital point and shoots. I am very impressed with this camera.

Thanks for the critiques. I am going to play with the bracketing feature (I think this will allow me to look at different exposure levels if I read the manual correctly) And great idea about the tractor. (But there is bindertwine hanging off the lower 'parts' that looked less than attractive) I totally agree that would have made it better (if I had removed the twine)

Isn't photography amazing?

Great Start, you have a good eye.

By the way, do you know Scott Windsor? If so send me a private message.

LOL nope don't know anyone

Here are a few pics from today (with some help from photoshop)

I think this one would have been better if the ball was coloured-not the tag.

Very nice series, I particularly like that tractor shot in B&W.
