Small red house
Lens: DA 18-135mm WR Camera: K-30 Photo Location: Eidsbugarden, Norway ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F6.3

A small red house with antlers and a bell on top.

Looks a bit like a "stabbur", used for storing food back in the days, except they're usually raised from the ground.
Located near the historical Eidsbugarden mountain hotel in Norway.

Looks to be of solid log construction and should last for many years...

If it was for storing food, why the bell?

From my understanding, several of the stabburs had bells - used to mark end of the workday etc on the farms. My guess, is that it's now serving as a cabin.

Nice shot. I support your explanation concerning the use of bells.

The bell could still be very worthwhile, it's way of getting the kids from playing outside at teatime.

How are you supposed to see who's knocking at the door in a house like that?
