A selfie! Somewhere in LA at a boomerang tournament, after a very weird sleepless night alone in the high desert west of Needles, CA, 1985. Tri-X, MX, M50 1.7

I recently found two rolls of negatives that I processed back then, but apparently never even made a contact sheet. All under-processed for ASA 200. Luckily, we now have Lightroom cc...

Looks like we have the same curly hair from that era. Lol.

Thanks! I think I was still spooked from my long night of surrounding coyotes, crazy jackrabbits, very odd wind events (as in sand blasted at 70mph, followed by dead calm), unidentified shuffling sounds j-u-s-t out of sight, and a UFO (!). Just as I almost fell asleep at one point, something pulled on my boot. It was a coyote

My scream startled them and they backed off, haha, but I think they were just curious.

Thanks- I've been going through around 20 pounds of old negatives lately, looking for interesting stuff.

I used to bulk-load Tri-X back then, but I wish I had maybe done a bit more Kodachrome or something...
