Landscape Lone Tree

For the 2nd time this year I've had a photo make it into Flickr Explore. I'm very surprised by this one though as I honestly don't see anything special in it. I won't moan though!

The photo was to fill a brief of "Lone Tree." Poor lighting conditions led me to bracket 5 exposures and process them in Nik HDR Efex with a natural preset as I didn't want an overly processed HDR look. I then added a vignette and B&W conversion in On1 Perfect Effects 9.

love the differences in textures between the tree and the field...BW makes it
