Very clear detailing in the feathers for such high ISO on the Q, you must have the patience of Job to get a shot like that, very well done.

I watched the adult parent grabbing seed and disappearing into the dogwood so I used the Q with the 560mm as a visual scope and at 60x magnification it wasn't all that hard to find his little family waiting to be fed. After that I just waited for them to be looking my way and pulled the trigger. Distance about 50 feet I think.

You make it sound so easy and I know its not, how do you calculate the length of a scope on a camera, just multiplying your scope length by the Q-S1's crop factor of 4.7 = 26,000mm and that cannot be right.

Not sure what you mean - perhaps focal length? If so that's a physical property of the scope or lens independent of the camera. In my case its 560mm.
