River Coquet, Warkworth, Northumberland
Lens: HD DA20-40 @ 26mm Camera: Pentax K-3 Photo Location: Warkworth, Northumberland, UK ISO: 160 Shutter Speed: 1/320s Aperture: F10

Not sure if I've posted this one before - if I have, it was before I had processed it properly.

This is a view of the River Coquet in Warkworth, Northumberland, taken from the road bridge at the entrance to the town. Looking through my Lightroom catalogue, I was surprised at the detail from my DA20-40 photos. I've never been particularly wowed by it, but looking through some of my images, I really can't think why. Stopped down, it seems to do rather well...

Thanks, Adam...

As I recall, there was a bit of post-processing involved

As for the DA20-40, I think this is where it does best... well, my copy, at least: wide angle and stopped down...

Apparently I think more highly of wide angle than you do. My experience is that it tends to turn me from an observer to a participant - I feel intimately immersed in the image.
