More from WWII airshow
Lens: Tamron 70-200 Camera: K-5IIs Photo Location: Dallas
Posted By: forensicscientist, 10-30-2016, 03:17 PM

A few more from the WWII airshow in Dallas this weekend. First ones are some Japanese 'zero's' I believe....and a then a torpedo bomber - a 'betty' I believe it's referred to....and then finally a B-17 as it taxi's in.......

There was a simulation of the attack at Pearl Harbor....pretty interesting. My daughter found it very interesting......lots of noise, explosions, and planes everywhere. Well worth the cost of admission to the event....

Nice. First one is a Aichi-D3a1 "Val" (model 99, I think :-) The "Betty" was a twin-engine bomber - this is a Nakajima B5N"Kate".

Ok, thanks.....for clarifying that. I should have done my homework instead of just listening to folks at the show....
