They are beautiful flowers and we have some growing by the garden fence (planted by previous tenants) but my wife won't go anywhere near them and it's always my job to cut them back in the fall/spring as she has a very strong allergic reaction if she comes into contact with the sap.

Only because they are good subjects for my photography!

Here's one my wife took with my K-30 when I was testing my then new-to-me 55-300 WR.



She even managed to capture a BIF (bee in flight) purely by chance as it photo-bombed her as she pressed the shutter!
