Emu Bush
Photo Location: Swan Hill, Victoria
Posted By: Bruce Clark, 11-02-2016, 03:18 PM

A few examples of what I believe to be an "Emu Bush" located in a garden in Swan Hill Victoria. A fairly tall shrub with masses of various coloured flowers. Several types were in flower at this time showing a wide variety in colour.

That second one is a stunner - simple and graceful.
Well done.

Good series. Yes they are Emu Bush, botanical name Eremophila. We have a few of various colours in the garden and a wild variety in the paddock. Birds love them.

Thanks for the ID. There was a sign nearby which referred only to one type.

Thanks for the ID. There was a sign nearby which referred only to one type, I was not sure if they all were related as they have different leaves and formation.
