Wonderful and still has all the fine detail, did no one tell you... Pentax don't do Reds.

I've heard that stated before but I've always liked the reds my K-30 produces, my daughter's K10D is no slouch on reds either.

Aye but that one uses different sensor technology, I always thought that my K10D produced more vivid colours.

I have read that...I must be thick but why does that happen? The sensor in the K-1 is used elsewhere - do they have the same issue? Is it the internal software or the coating on the lens? Who knows?

That is plenty enough to think about...I need a lie down
