A Fine Autumns Day "Unfurled"
Posted By: Kerrowdown, 11-06-2016, 09:00 AM

After the original shot, I had time to bring my “Gorgeous Lady” (Pentax-A* 200mm F2.8 ED) into play, especially nice for her as she doesn't get out so much.

Very nice and moody. Is that Nessie I see on the far right?

I do hope so... certainly would increase the value of this image.

That is a very nice shot, minimalist but with a great mood.

Thanks for that, somewhere you can get to with the Landy, so it can carry all your kit.

Nice,
makes you want to run for the hills. Your colour treatment makes it more depressing than what it probably is.

Now I start to understand why Scottish people seek refuge in a single malt. (or two)

Cheers

Kerrowdown,
A question:
On your shots and others I have seen, it looks like much of Scotland is denuded of trees from the viewpoint of someone who has grown up in the forests of eastern N. America.
Is this more or less natural or the result of human activity such as centuries of grazing or, to put it another way, what would have natural Scotland looked like a 1000 years ago?

Just wondering,
Wildman

This is happy golden... the real version is varying shades of dull grey.
