First studio shots with the K-1 and FA77
Lens: FA77mm Camera: K-1 Photo Location: Québec
Posted By: bdery, 11-07-2016, 10:36 AM

I acquired a 77mm recently, and put it through its paces during a recent studio shoot. I must say in that context, the focal length is wonderful, very comfortable to work with. And it delivers pleasing results, sharp but also nicely coloured. click on the images for full-sized 36MP files (with brutal sharpness) and feel free to comment on the technique and composition!

A lovely set of photographs. This group of " little people " look like they enjoyed the day very much, as it clearly shows in their faces. Wonderful, happy images. Thanks for posting them.

Spot on thanks, I only wanted a quick closer look, as I use K1 with an older but similar focal length “Sweetheart” (Pentax-A* 85mm F1.4) and to see if any real difference to IQ.

You should have gotten that.

I'd love to try that one too one day. The 77 impresses me in the studio, sharpness of course is superb but rendering is also quite pleasing.
