Hi

I don't take many sunset shots anymore. I still have a lot of them from my earlier days in photography and I cannot find many which will be any different
from what I already have. To me, there are only so many one can take.

But these here I thought were a little different and I don't see too many of those. And I have to tell you I found these quite difficult to take. There is never a lot of time to experiment as the sun always sets pretty rapidly, not to mention the heavy traffic. (There is always someone or something invading your frame)

Cheers

Thanks for taking the time to comment.

It was close let me tell you, darting in and out into the traffic, trying to get the exposure right, framing and chimping for evaluation, most people probably never realise how challenging these sort of shots really are. Speed is important and knowing the buttons and levers of your cam is vital if you want to succeed. But you probably know all this. Add to this the very short duration of the "sundown window" makes success or failure a matter of luck more so than skill.

Cheers

I know that we don't have traffic volumes to worry about... a couple of haggis carts doesn't present an issue.

Nevertheless the thought of being covered head to toe in haggis when run over by a haggis cart is just awful or should I say offal.

Cheers

Not at all, just add tatties, neeps and more drams, what a way to go.
