Just looking to share some pictures :)
Lens: Sigma 17 - 50mm f/2.8 Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Mildura ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/160s Aperture: F5.6

I just wanted to upload some photos that I kind of like as I've never actually gotten to share any of my pictures before!
Feedback is welcomed and encouraged! I'd really like to hone my skills and be able to take more shots I can confidently share.
*sorry for the funky colors in some areas, I'm quite a photoshop beginner and been having some trouble exporting with the right colors.

Hi Brooke (is that your given name?)
I quite like what you have offered - particularly the two that are lighter and appear more natural day time images.
One of the great composition conventions is to avoid an horizon dead centre (refer to the Rule of Thirds).
It is a convention that I S0METIMES stick to. (but not always!!)

Good to have you on the Forum; you will get a lot of help here - and most of it will be better than I can give.
I can't help much with Photoshop. I use Lightroom fairly minimally.
Keep posting and asking questions.

I see you are from Mildura. Where were the photos taken?

Thanks Rod! (If that's your name haha)
Yes, my given name is Brooke

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!
Yeah, I kind of mucked up while I was taking the photos and forgot about the whole horizon line. I was swamped by flies and mosquitoes and got in and out as quickly as possible.
I was happy to have some shots that came out better than I was expecting. Maybe I'll have a play with cropping them and see how I go with the rule of thirds.

These were both taken off Kulkyne Way just between Red Cliffs and Nangiloc.
To see it on the map, the closest I can explain would be the corner of Kulkyne Way and Forbes Rd.

I like them and the way you played with the light.

Good stuff! I like the first that you re-edited. Probably the second version better but it is a nice shot either way. I like how you see.

The rule of 17/32nds also works, as in this case. The sky has some interest, so that helps. Nice and bleak :-)
