Just back from a 2-hour stroll through the local forest on a magical afternoon with beautiful autumn sunshine.

1. Elderly couple out for a stroll

2. Low sun revealing lost of detail in this tree trunk

3. A few whisps of mist

7. Colourful tree roots

The last one is my favorite! The roots look like toes extending out. Beautiful lighting, and the foreground leaves add the right touch of color.

I really like number six as well. I've always loved images of trees in mist.

What found most interesting is the polite wee fences around them, we’re a lot more wild with our forests here.
