Had trouble getting a sharp image at first with this new lens. On another thread I asked for and received a lot of help from PF members. This was just a test shot, cropped some and tweaked a bit in post but the more I looked at it the more I liked it. Maybe I'm just happy to be making progress.

Thanks Tonytee. I was relieved to finally get a decent image with this new lens. Even though this shot is nothing to write home about I was so pleased with the colors and textures captured with my new equipment I decided to express my happiness here on PF. I found the bokeh pleasing as well.

Along those lines I've seen some amazing "flower" shots from this lens as well. It might be a chunk to haul over hill and dale, but it's not hyperbole when people say it has as much pixie dust as the FA Limited's do.

The lighting and contrast gives this image such a wonderful 3D effect. Well done.
