Very well stated. I find myself becoming more and more glued to that so-called kit lens. It does a very good job in my book. Easy auto-focus and the zoom ring is a joy to use. In addition, there is no zoom creep. It may not be expensive, however it does like to act as though it is.

Nice complimentary colors and great details. TFS Tony.

Wish I could still eat that kind of candy.

On the kit lens. I bought one when I first got my K-x (in 2011), mine is the AL ll version. It does a really nice job on flowers as well as candy and I won't get rid of it any time soon.
