Rain Falls Hard
Lens: D-FA 70-200mm f2.8 @ 200.0mm Camera: Pentax K-1 (FF) Photo Location: Silverdale, WA ISO: 10000 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F8

Shutter speed is actually 1/400s, but there doesn't appear to be a drop-down for that. My wife asked to go out shooting with me today, out of the blue. So we suited up my red K-30 with the FA 43mm for her, and the combo above for me. Although I do wish I had brought a flash and some coloured gels for my shooting, and the 100mm Macro for her, we both came away with shots that made us happy.

People complain about little photography in poor weather - the fact is that little human or animal activity occurs during poor weather. Thank you for showing us that there are things to be seen even when most of us aren't there.

That's impressive. I'd never be able to get my wife out in the rain to go take pictures. Hope the rain didn't disturb the spiders too much. Great detail in the needles with the bits of spiderweb, almost didn't notice them at first.

Very nice! My wife isn't into photography herself, but she does like to go out with me sometimes. The only time I had her in the rain was at a botanical garden on Oahu, and she got a little testy after about a half hour in the rain, so I cut it short. However I did get some nice photos there.
