Beach hut colours

noticed these nice colourful doors on some beach huts...

That's an original take on a common theme! Great DOF effect and the colours shout out despite the rather bright exposure.

Interesting only the doors are painted, when I've seen these elsewhere in the UK the whole hut was colourful.

these were a bit different in that rather than being individual huts, it was a large timber building divided up into rooms with just the doors painted in bright colours. I'm assuming it's so they can control the 'look' of the place and not make the beach area look to tacky...(it was a very posh beach...)

See that explains it... the old Kerrowdown's not allowed in or on "posh" establishments.
