playing with natural ligh and water

Interesting shot with potential. To me water is always a good subject.
Next time try less reeds in the shot, off center and show the top of the reeds (if they are short enough) with their reflections.
Something like the reed off to the right side with it's top bent over into the water....a little further back so you get the top and reflection. Shoot on overcast day if possible to get silver gray reflection.

Then, do the shot in B & W. In fact redo THIS shot in B & W and see how it changes the mood!

Hi Ti! How about this? Done in PSE 3.0 played around a bit with highlights, shadows and mid point contrast, then colored it.

Not too sure... I would have liked to see the point where the stalks meet the water just a touch higher...not in the middle.
