A Red rose and some emerging buds shot in front of a dark background provided by the cover from 110cm 5in1 reflector kit. The colour balance of background was adjusted to develop the almost pure black as opposed to the bland grey as shot. Lightroom version does show some deep blue in the background which I can't see on the uploaded version.

I could see no blue at all on my screen. Interesting. Time to re-calibrate I think.
