Suspension bridge over the little Colorado River in Cameron, Arizona, Navajo Indian Reservation.
Large conduit added later probably to supply electricity to the Cameron area.

Built 1911 by the Midland Bridge Company

Sign in front of bridge
Cameron (originally Tanner's Crossing)
Named for one of Arizona's first Senators
a pioneer in development of trails and coppermines
in the Grand Canyon. Near here was the site
of Tanner's Crossing of the Little Colorado River
on the Mormon Trail from Utah via Lee's Ferry
To settlements in Arizona and Mexico

Clarence, you're on top of it again. Everything is straight in this photo except one curved element (looks like a pipe, but I suspect it's something else). I dig this shot for the same reasons I dig jazz - the chord contains a note you didn't see (hear) coming.

Nice shot there clarence! The bridge is a LOOONG one! This photo really shows me that.

I'd like to see them without those frames. Its hard to tell what they're like when the photographs are dominated like that. The nice thing about this forum - when compered to dpreview - is the nice light, neutral backdrop for photographs.
