Milky Way on the Lake (Multi-Stitch Pano)
Lens: Samyang 24/1.1 Camera: Pentax K-1 Photo Location: Lac Bouchette, QC, Canada ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F2
Posted By: Weevil, 01-01-2017, 08:56 AM

This was one of the first pics I made after the purchase of a new Pentax K-1. It was a first try at the Milky Way in panoramic format (this is a stitch of 26 images (2 x13 in portrait orientation), and ended to be a winner!

Must be seen in full screen mode!

Super impressive, Weevil!
Looks as if all stars were captured on this one, I can even spot the center of the Andromeda galaxy. Milky way, dawn in the east (or is it some city light?), reflections of stars on the water, trees, mountains, everything is beautiful and detailed.

I think I saw this one earlier but never commented. Amazing composition & sky capture!
