Fort Lalatte on a frosty morning

Fort Lalatte was first built during the 10th century, extended during the 14th century and again 17th century {https://www.castlelalatte.com/}. Surrounded by water, the castle is an impressive sight. It was seen in the Hollywood movie 'The Vikings' with Kirk Douglas.

Light and hoarfrost are just great ! Makes for kind of fairy-tale castle look...

Looks like a proper medieval fort!

Yes, it was very frosty... and beautiful. The frost wa most unusual as the Fort Lalatte is surrounded by seawater, namely the English Channel, which remains relatively warm in winter (warmer than the air temperature).
