Best of 2016 Barred Owl

Great photo of a Barred Owl. Only seen one once in the wild and I was fortunate enough to photograph it. Such an unusual Owl, what with it's large dark brown eyes.

It was my lucky day that day. It was sitting on a low branch but the lighting was bad which is why the high ISO and relatively low shutter speed. Thanks to the K-3's SR, I managed to get a decent picture.
