The sun came out
Lens: Pentax 12mm-24mm Camera: Pentax K3-II Photo Location: Northern Arizona ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F5.6

I captured this picture not by waiting for hours or really setting up for it at all. I had just finished a portrait shoot at this location and the sun was behind the clouds all day, great for the portraits. As I was packing up my gear the sun came out and this was the view I saw as i turned around. I grabbed my camera changed my lens to my Pentax 12mm-24mm put on my mono pod since it was still out and I knew I might loose the sun at any moment. I adjusted my settings and started shooting. I was literally 50 yards off the road and a couple pull off and took pictures with there phone. After the sun went away they told me that they had stopped because they saw me with my big camera (I had the battery pack/grip on) and said it must be a nice picture look at that guy. To say the least I was extremely happy with the shots I got and the final edited picture.

A nicely captured scene with the early morning light.
