Awesome ! IQ terrific with the Bigma . We must have done similar to capture almost 30 years ago @ Duluth Air Show 1990. I have in my Albums some prized Photos from that show. Here is one very similar to yours scanned from Film prints.

Great shot! Reminds me of seeing them perform in Cleveland in 1994.

Thanks for the kind words. Some years ago during a Blue Angels performance I watched an old elderly (80ish) gentleman who was so excited that he would jump up and down, spin around and clap every time they flew by. For a few minutes the old guy was closer to 8 than 80.

Very nice shots
Though I would share some vintage shots taken in the early 80's at a Canadian Airshow with a K1000 and scanned off the negatives. Unfortunately the only shot I have of the "Angels" in the same formation as your shot I was a little to far ahead and fast on the shutter button. It takes quite an bit of precision to catch a shot of an aircraft moving at over 400 knots with a Manual Focus Camera and a manual advance film winder, something I definitely didn't have at the time

I wish I had the Sigma 150-500 Gifthorse used for his shot here the IQ is superb! Back in the film days you hoped for at least 1 or 2 Keepers out of each roll but didn't know until a few days latter when you got them developed ! I used a tripod snugged down and followed them in until they started to fill the frame and then tried to fire off a handful of shots. Not knowing what you were getting for sure.
And once in a while you got one that you didn't dream of. Here is a shot that I lucked out on that I couldn't have got even if I tried A Bazzillion times. Look at their wheels and tail hooks all touching Hydro Wires I didn't see in front of me ! I sent this pic to them and captioned it "Now I know how you do that without Bumping into each other your all attached to wires . I was hoping for a ride but never heard back
