I guess this place is well known among Minnesotans, but as a long time upper midwesterner I'd somehow failed to learn of it until this morning. It's a spectacular waterfall tucked away in a Minneapolis city park. The path to the base is closed by the city this time of year because of slippery footing and falling ice, though people do frequently climb over the barricades for a thrill, a photo op, or (as we saw during a visit this morning) a marriage proposal.
edit: I can't fix a typo in the photo location? :-( Honestly, I'm not trying to sound like Sean Connery here.
