This was late afternoon in the coastal town of Dieppe. loved the light, the solitude and the pigeons flying up.

Good shot.
Great minds think alike. I have a similar image in the can which I shot back in 2012 in Ireland and your post made me look for it. The reason ? Appart from the similarity of the of the building's perspective in your pic the birds being a bit of part of the shot are flying off, while in mine one sits on the road in the foreground presumingly contemplating to take off.
