Nice shot, my friend. Otis' cousins here in SE Texas also have winter coats but - poor things - have no winter!

Thanks guys! We have hardly had any winter weather here.... a couple of very cold days but mostly very warm weather. He says his coat comes off easily for skinny dipping on those warm 80F + Texas January days......I just take his word for it!

Regards!

Rupert,
I really appreciate your friends and so do a couple of nonagenarian friends of mine who spend most of there time with the local fauna. They are pretty well house-bound so can't wait for the little ones to come to their patio door for hand outs. I made a print of the image and placed in a frame on their mantle. First thing they saw the next morning and boy were they excited.
I used to point them to links to see the creatures but they no longer do that so I hope I didn't violate your copyright too much.

Otis says forget the copyright, where do you get those huge pecans?

Yep, the little critters are a lot of fun. I am glad your friends like them too!

If you like any of these, feel free to print them for your friends!

Regards!

They get pecans from a farm in Trinity, TX but I don't remember the name. Real K 1 image of the pecan but relative size to squirrel probably a little off.
