Nice shots. I especially like the misty quality of the second one.

Thanks guys. The misty look is from a 2.8 setting and side lighting. I shot around 20 of this flower changing a number of settings and angles .. Each has its own look and really its what I liked the best........ Cheers JIMBO

Thanks Rosemary.. It was one of my favorites from the series it did. I cropped it slightly and added some brightness only. I should have tried shooting it at a slightly higher ISO to bring out the other stems more. The light was from a out door light only no flash... Thanks for your comments... Cheers JIMBO

Funny you ask. I have framed only three out of the thousands I have shot. One was a landscape which I believe I posted called "Roky Blues" and the other was a macro. I will find the picture.... The last one was a shot of my Autistic son who never allowed my to take pictures before. That one was the best for a number of reasons! I have a few more I want to frame but I keep thinking "I need to improve more" I had the landscape done at a shop and the macro I printed off my printer along with my sons picture... both came out better then I thought they would. Its funny how many pictures I take and how few have made it to a frame.... I think once I get a few more thousand under my belt.. I may frame a few more. Cheers and thank you as always for your comments Gary. JIMBO
