Was sitting and waiting with a coffee at breakfast time, its a popular campground so the birds were accustomed to people if you are quiet. Thank you for checking the post. Cheers. ps; its 2.30 in morning and 33 degrees C too hot and more to come tomorrow.

I bailed out of my place in the bush at 10.00 this morning (11.00 in the advanced world down south) with the temp just nudging 40C. It was heading for 42 or 43. I had to cut and run because Ergon switched off the power at 9:00 for an all-day job. No power before 4:00 - and that means no aircon! So I came to Toowoomba where we have a nice cool house and the temp doesn't go so high anyway. I will be a coward and sit this heat wave out!

They picked the wrong day to turn the power off for sure, common sense prevailed for you to head to Toowooba sounds better. Was 42 here a hour ago but its cooled down to 40 now so I am thinking how lucky.
