I know it was probably impossible under the circumstances but it would have been great if both jets were in focus as that would have been an exceptional shot.

Agreed, I should have used 1/8000 and high ISO. Maybe this year They were bookin', though.

Nice shot, terrific timing! Personally, (and having having shot a few air shows) I like the blur. It gives some motion to the image.

Great shot and timing! One more positive element of the photo is that you have stopped the aircraft that shows the upside. FYI even 1/8000 doesn't freeze both aircrafts when we talk about F-16s or other fast jets. It surely gives a better result if you're interested in having a more well defined second plane but it doesn't freeze it. I have attached 2 images with 1/8000 from RAF Hawks if you would like to see what the results look like. Not the best images, but I don't have any other examples in this PC right now...
