Very nice shot, very clear and crisp with the action of the water frozen in time.

Thanks eaglem. I'm hoping to get over to the coast more often. It's only an hour drive but matching good weather with available time is difficult.

For some good pictures, make sure you definition of 'good' also includes rough conditions (wind, ice) or moody fog from time to time.

I agree wholeheartedly. The last month it's been the almost constant down pour of rain and freezing rain that's kept me from making the drive. This Tuesday is supposed to be nice though.

The Oregon coast is a great place to witness the power and magnitude of mother nature. When your down close to the surf you have to keep a close eye on what's going on around you. Just last week a young father and his three year old son got swept out to sea by a sneaker wave. All they've found so far is the mans jacket. Tragic. Warning signs posted everywhere about the dangers of sneaker waves but sadly incidents like this are all to frequent.

The coast offers diverse opportunities for photography. Hoping to get there more often.
