Ignorance
Lens: Sigma 17-50 Camera: Pentax k5 Photo Location: Tenerife ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F4.5
Posted By: zichodavid, 01-23-2017, 09:45 AM

The photo was taken at Canary Islands, Tenerife.

Minimal Lightroom editing.

Polarizing filter.

The kois were swimming so close to the surface that they created a strong current so the structure of the water made the photo look like an impressionist painting.

The fishes are looking envy at the mighty creature who they never can reach. The swan ignores all.

Looking at this shot would give one the impression it was an Oil Painting which certainly makes it different.

I really like this photograph. I would enlarge it to about an 8 X 10 or 11 X 14 and hang it .

Painting indeed! Beautiful, but the poor swan!
