Birds and Turtle
Lens: DA 560 Camera: K-1
Posted By: KiloHotelphoto, 01-25-2017, 04:33 PM

Went out to try to get some small birds today instead of just eagles. I took my first ever Cardinal pictures and what I think is a Downy Woodpecker but might be a Hairy Woodpecker. I found a turtle that was out sunning himself on a nice sunny 53 degree day and I did spot a pair of eagles so I had to take their picture also.

Nice variety. The cardinals seem to like to be in the thicket areas most of the time when I see them. They also seem to like to distance themselves from me on most occasions if I appear to be pointing my camera toward them.
