When I think of big birds, these are the first ones that come to mind. I like the first one. Really good.

You are making the most of that lense TC TC setup with this and your other post. I am truly amazed at the quality of the shots and I like your compositions.

Walter, these are excellent shots. I like the composition of 2 and 3 very much. Also, the delicate natural colours of the heron and the texture of its feathers are very nicely rendered. The soft, abstracted background is in wonderful contrast to the bird itself.

All are very well done but my favorites are the first two. I can feel the heron in the stalk mode. Well done as usual! You make good use of that nice lens. :-)
