Got out today (finally after a couple weeks !) and found a lifer!

Good Light was not there, but at least the snow adds a little plus!

Thanks, but just to make sure, the snow is real, not PP'd by the way!

Sometime, just sometimes, I think I live in the wrong place.

Great shot Sylvain.

Great photograph. Very sharp and snow falling really enhances this photograph. I would frame this photo, if it were mine.

By coincidence this past friday, my wife and I went for a long drive with the intent to find a Great Grey Owl, On occasion we have been lucky in this particular area. All we saw were a few crows and ravens....not an owl or Bald Eagle.

Gorgeous. I have yet to get a decent photo of an owl with a DSLR. I'm surprised that many Northern Hemisphere owls seem to hunt in the daytime. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the light - the low DOF probably adds effect, as does the snow. Well done and congratulations!

I have been trying to photograph these beautiful birds for years. Hopefully my first one will come close to this one. Well done. JIM

Weevil that's a great photograph!

We have a great grey owl that lives locally but I haven't been able to photograph it... The owl is very often seen on the road to the ski hill (KHMR) but I only see it when I don't have my camera and never see it when I have my camera. One day...

Several emotions are in play when I look at this pic. Top of the list are envy and jealousy.

Superb shot! As good as it gets! That "old" FA* canon seems to perform brilliantly on K-1 and with your skills you make this combo shine!
