M78 and a bit of Barnard's loop
Lens: TS APO 80/480 Camera: K5 ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F5.8

This is the reflection nebula M78 and its dark dust nebulas in the Orion constellation and in the left Corner a piece of the so called Barnard's Loop that surrounds most of the Orion constellation.

The image was stacked from 30 pictures @ ISO 400, 360s exposure tíme.

Thank you! You can follow the link to flickr under the image and from there you have access to the download of the full resolution. I like it best when it fills the entire monitor. Zooming deeper does not bring much more detail.

Hey great job! I love everything about it, especially how you didn't centre the largest part of the nebula like all other astrophotographers do.
