It's indeed a wonderful image. It looks like the lighthouse is actually illuminating the stars. It must be quite a powerful light bulb!

Wonderfully put-together image. Excellent balance. While the lighthouse is bright, it seems as though the majesty of the Milky Way steals the scene. Thanks.

Hey thanks all It's an old image, taken back in 2016 I think? so hard to remember. It was indeed a lot of work, although I've improved much since then and it is a lot easier now.
Most annoying thing about that shoot: the fog kept fogging over the lens. Being from the desert, this was a problem I didn't anticipate.

Thanks Ted. Huge sentimental reason for taking the image in the first place, and the light beam of the lighthouse was significant to having it point to the centre of our galaxy.
