The Kek Lok Si Temple is said to be the largest Chinesetemple in Southeast Asia. It straddles a hillside overlooking the town of AyerItam and GeorgeTown, Penang, Malaysia, beyond that. It is a temple that harmoniously blendMahayana Buddhism with Taoist beliefs and other Chinese rituals, creating anamalgam that is uniquely its own. The entire complex of the temple was built over a period from 1890 to 1930.
The two star attractions of Kek LokSi Temple are the seven storey Pagoda of Rama VI ( Pagoda of Ten Thousand Buddhas ) with 10,000 alabaster
